中文介绍袁隆平（1930年9月7日-2021年5月22日），男，汉族，生于北平（今北京市），无党派人士，江西省九江市德安县人。享誉海内外的著名农业科学家，中国杂交水稻事业的开创者和领导者，中国共产党的亲密朋友，无党派人士的杰出代表。其研发培育的“籼型杂交水稻”品种，在提高粮食产量、保障粮食安全方面做出了重大贡献，被誉为“杂交水稻之父”。袁隆平致力于杂交水稻技术的研究、应用与推广，发明“三系法”籼型杂交水稻，成功研究出“两系法”杂交水稻，创建了超级杂交稻技术体系。并提出并实施“种三产四丰产工程”，运用超级杂交稻的技术成果，出版中、英文专著6部，发表论文60余篇。曾获“国家最高科学技术奖”、“全国劳动模范”、“中国发明奖特等奖”、“全国科普工作先进工作者”、“世界粮食奖”等殊荣。英文介绍Yuan Longping (September 7, 1930 - May 22, 2021), male, Han nationality, born in Peiping (now Beijing), non-party人士, born in De'an County, Jiangxi Province. He is a famous agricultural scientist respected both in China and abroad, the founder and leader of China's hybrid rice industry, a close friend of the Chinese Communist Party, and a prominent representative of non-party人士.His developed and cultivated "indica hybrid rice" varieties have made significant contributions to increasing grain output and ensuring food security, and are known as the "father of hybrid rice".Yuan Longping has dedicated himself to the research, application and promotion of hybrid rice technology. He invented the "three-line method" indica hybrid rice, successfully developed the "two-line method" hybrid rice, and created the super hybrid rice technology system. He also proposed and implemented the "three crops per mu and fourfold yield" project, using the technical achievements of super hybrid rice.
