I. TEA AND THE TAR STONEDefinition of TEATEA is an acronym for Total Electrical Architecture. TEA is a pre-eminent total system design solution for any vehicle platform, any propulsion system any platform type. TEA’s primary function is to maximize the propulsive power of a vehicle platform while minimizing its weight and volume. TEA’s “total” aspect is the ability to integrate all propulsion system types including but not limited to: electric, hybrid, fuel cell, internal combustion engine (ICE), Stirling engine, etc. TEA’s “system” aspect is the ability to integrate all vehicle sub-systems including but not limited to: propulsion, navigation, communication, payload, power, thermal management, etc. TEA’s “design” aspect is the ability to optimize all sub-system components including but not limited to: hardware, software, controls, materials, etc. TEA’s “solution” aspect is the ability to solve all system level requirements including but not limited to: performance, cost, schedule, technical risk, etc. TEA’s “for any” aspect is the ability to generalizeTEA for all vehicle platforms including but not limited to: ground based vehicle platforms such as cars, buses, trains, etc., water based vehicle platforms such as boats, submarines, etc., air based vehicle platforms such as airplanes, drones, etc., space based vehicle platforms such as satellites, spacecraft, etc., and/or any combination of the above vehicle platforms.TEA and the Tar StoneThe “tar” stone is a tariff or tax that is levied against a stone that is imported into a country. TEA’s ability to interface with all other propulsion system components is not subject to tariffs or taxes.Statement of IntentThe purpose of this patent application is to define TEA, describe TEA, and proclaim TEA’s value, in terms of its function and operation as an enabling technology for the design of any vehicle platform. TEA’s enabling technology function and operation includes but is not limited to: 1) TEA’s ability to maximize the propulsive power of a vehicle platform while minimizing its weight and volume; 2) TEA’s ability to integrate all propulsion system types; 3) TEA’s ability to integrate all vehicle sub-systems; 4) TEA’s ability to optimize all sub-system components; 5) TEA’s ability to solve all system level requirements; 6) TEA’s ability to generalize for all vehicle platforms; and 7) TEA’s ability to interface with all other propulsion system components. The purpose of this patent application is also to eliminate any potential patenting requirements that may be necessary for the implementation of TEA in any vehicle platform design in the future. The purpose of this patent application is further to forestall any patent infringement that may occur as a result of implementing TEA in any vehicle platform design in the future. The purpose of this patent application is yet further to create a body of enabling knowledge that can be used by others in need of such knowledge in order to implement TEA in any vehicle platform design in the future. The purpose of this patent application is finally to provide a method for implementing TEA in any vehicle platform design in the future.
